Welcome to my crochet rat tutorial. This is the video tutorial for my crochet rat pattern.

For this pattern you will need any thickness crochet cotton or yarn, I used Scheepjes Catona cotton colors (106) Snow White and (238) Powder Pink.  A crochet hook, I used a 2.5mm hook.  A darning needle to weave in ends.  Thread and needle to stitch the rat together and black thread to embroider on the eye, mouth and whiskers and a pair of scissors.

The size of the rat will be 9.5cm wide x 6cm high (3.75” wide x 2.5” high) and it will look like this.

In this tutorial I’ll show you how to make the head, body and tail. Then I’ll guide you through making the legs and ears. Finally, I’ll show you how to join all the pieces together.
