Welcome to my crochet possum tutorial. This is the video tutorial for my crochet possum pattern.

For this pattern, you will need any thickness crochet cotton or yarn, I used Scheepjes Catona cotton colours (393) Charcoal, (074) Mercury, (106) Snow White, (222) Tulip, (110) Black and (238) Powder Pink for the claws if desired, but you could use Tulip instead.  Crochet hooks, I used a 2.5mm hook and a 2.25mm hook for neatening.  A darning needle to weave in ends.  A pair of scissors.  2 black beads for the eyes.  Thread and needle to stitch the possum together.  White fabric paint or white thread for the white dot in the centre of the bead.

The size of the possum in Catona will be 12cm wide x 11cm high (4.75” wide x 4.25” high), and it will look like this.
