Welcome to my crochet pigeon tutorial. This is the video tutorial for my crochet pigeon pattern.

For this pattern you will need any thickness crochet cotton or yarn, I used Scheepjes Catona cotton colors (242) Metal Grey, (393) Charcoal, (074) Mercury, (254) Moon Rock, (404) English Tea and (110) Black.  A crochet hook, I used a 2.5mm hook.  A darning needle to weave in ends.  Thread and needle to stitch the pigeon together. Black, brown and green or pink thread to embroider on the eye and markings and a pair of scissors.

The size of the pigeon will be 12cm wide x 9cm high (4.75” wide x 3.5” high) and it will look like this.

In this tutorial I’ll show you how to make the head, body and tail. Then I’ll guide you through making the legs, claws, beak and wing. Finally, I’ll show you how to join all the pieces together.
