Welcome to my crochet sitting hedgehog tutorial. This is the video tutorial for my crochet sitting hedgehog pattern.

For this pattern you will need any thickness crochet cotton or yarn, I used Scheepjes Catona cotton colors (130) Old Lace, (254) Moon Rock, (162) Black Coffee, (513) Apple Granny and (110) Black.  A crochet hook, I used a 2.5mm hook.  A darning needle to weave in ends.  Thread and needle to stitch the hedgehog together and black thread to embroider on the eyes. Green thread to embroider on the leaf markings if desired and a pair of scissors.

The size of the sitting hedgehog will be 11.5cm wide x 9.5cm high (4.5” wide x 3.75” high) and it will look like this.

In this tutorial, I’ll show you how to make the face, body, spikes, arms and feet. Then I’ll guide you through making the nose, ears and the front and back parts of the leaf boat. Then I’ll show you how to join all the pieces together.
