Welcome to my crochet peacock tutorial. In this tutorial video, I’ll show you how to make my crochet peacock pattern.

In the tutorial video, I’ll show you how to make the head and body, the beak and tail. Then I’ll show how to make the feathers, wing and legs. Finally, I’ll show you how to join all of the pieces together.

The finished peacock applique will be 11cm wide x 20.5cm high or 4.25″ wide x 8″ high and will look like this.

To make the peacock you will need any thickness crochet cotton or yarn, I used Scheepjes Catona crochet cotton colours (515) Emerald, (201) Electric Blue, (254) Moon Rock and (208) Yellow Gold.  A crochet hook, I used a 2.5mm hook.  A darning needle to weave in ends and a pair of scissors.  Sewing thread and a needle to stitch the peacock together.  Some black and white thread for the eye markings if desired.  Thin black cotton and small blue seed beads for the head feathers if desired.

I hope that you’ve enjoyed the video. If you’ve liked it you may like some of my other tutorials for the crochet vulture, the crochet rooster, the robin, the blue wren, the crochet pheasant or the crochet quail.
