Welcome to my crochet gymnast tutorial. This is the tutorial video for my crochet gymnast pattern.
The finished size for the crochet gymnast will be 13cm wide x 16cm high or 5” wide x 6.25” high and will look like this.
To make this crochet gymnast you will need any thickness crochet cotton or yarn, I used Scheepjes Catona crochet cotton colours (115) Hot Red, (105) Bridal White and (162) Black Coffee. A crochet hook, I used a 2.5mm hook. A darning needle to weave in ends. A pair of scissors. Sewing thread and a needle to stitch the gymnast together. A black bead, black felt or fine black cotton for the eye if desired.
In the tutorial, I’ll show you how to make the leotard, legs, and hand. Then I’ll guide you through making the slippers, hair, scrunchie, eye and head. Finally I’ll show you how to join all of the pieces together.
