Welcome to my crochet sleeping baby tutorial. This is the video tutorial for my crochet sleeping baby pattern.
For this pattern you will need any thickness crochet cotton or yarn, I used Scheepjes Catona cotton colours (222) Tulip, (162) Black Coffee and (130) Old Lace. Crochet hooks, I used a 2.5mm hook for the main parts and a 2.25mm hook for neatening rows. A darning needle to weave in ends. A pair of scissors. Thread and needle to stitch the baby together.
The sleeping baby applique will be 7.5cm wide x 5cm high (3” wide x 2” high) and it will look like this.
In the tutorial video, I’ll show you how to make the head and the hair. Then I’ll guide you through how to make the jumpsuit, the hand, the bow and the hairband. Finally, I’ll show you how to join all of the pieces together.
