Welcome to my crochet wattle and gumnut tutorial. This is the video tutorial for my crochet wattle and gumnut pattern.

For this pattern you will need any thickness crochet cotton or yarn, I used Scheepjes Catona cotton colours (254) Moon Rock, (208) Yellow Gold, (114) Shocking Pink and (244) Spruce.  A crochet hook, I used a 2.5mm hook.  A darning needle to weave in ends.  Scissors.  Thread and needle to stitch the pieces to the branch.  A cockatiel with branch applique and a possum applique if desired.

The wattle and gumnut appliqué will be 15cm wide x 11cm high or 5.75” wide x 4.25” high and will look like this.
