Welcome to my crochet swallow tutorial. This is the video tutorial for my crochet swallow pattern.

For this pattern you will need any thickness crochet cotton or yarn, I used Scheepjes Catona cotton colors (201) Electric Blue, (106) Snow White, (393) Charcoal and (115) Hot Red.  A crochet hook, I used a 2.5mm hook.  A darning needle to weave in ends.  Blue thread to stitch the bird together and black thread to embroider on an eye and a pair of scissors.

The size of the swallow will be 7cm wide x 6.5cm high (3” wide x 2.75” high) and will look like this.

In this video, I’ll show you how to make the head, body and beak. Then I’ll guide you through making the tail and wings. Finally, I’ll show you how to join the pieces together.
