Welcome to my crochet dump truck tutorial. This is the video tutorial for my crochet dump truck pattern.
For this pattern you will need any thickness crochet cotton or yarn, I used Scheepjes Catona cotton colours (208) Yellow Gold, (201) Electric Blue, (110) Black, and (074) Mercury. A crochet hook, I used a 2.5mm hook. A darning needle to weave in ends. Thread and needle to stitch the dump truck together and a pair of scissors.
The size of the dump truck will be 15.5cm wide x 9cm high (6” wide x 3.5” high) and it will look like this.
In the tutorial video I’ll show you how to make the wheels, the mudguards, the dump bed and the axle. Then I’ll guide you through making the cab and the window. Finally, I’ll show you how to join all the pieces together.
