Welcome to my crochet castle tutorial. This is the video tutorial for my crochet castle pattern.
For this pattern you will need any thickness crochet cotton or yarn, I used Scheepjes Catona cotton colors (074) Mercury, (242) Metal Grey, (115) Hot Red, (254) Moon Rock and (110) Black. A crochet hook, I used a 2.5mm hook. A darning needle to weave in ends and a pair of scissors. Thread and needle to stitch the castle together and black thread to embroider on markings.
The size of the finished castle applique will be 20cm wide x 17cm high (8″ wide x 6.75″ high) and it will look like this.
In this tutorial video I’ll show you how to make the middle section, the battlements, and the roof. Then I’ll guide you through making the door, the flag, the windows, the towers and the side pieces. Finally, I’ll show you how to join all the pieces together.
