Two of the Australian yarn shops I like to use for the Scheepjes cotton I use for my appliqués are Tinsimink and Bellemae Yarns.

Both shops are quick to get the orders posted, the yarn is beautifully packaged and both owners are very friendly and helpful.

Tinsimink is owned by Stasia and is now located in the beautiful Huon Valley in Southern Tasmania.  I order my Scheepjes Catona cotton, which I use when filming for my YouTube videos, from Stasia but she also stocks a good range of other Scheepjes yarns as well as Fiddlesticks, KPC Yarn, Mo Ya Yarn and others.  If the yarn you are after isn’t stocked, Stasia is able to place special orders and will also get in bulk project yarn.  She also provides a 20% discount for people who design patterns and sell patterns or items in their own store. You are also able to purchase crochet hooks, knitting needles, patterns and other accessories.  There are also a few kits available at the moment, but the range of kits will soon increase.

Bellemae Yarns is an on-line shop in Portarlington, Victoria.  I’ve ordered my Scheepjes Maxi Sugar Rush, which is the same cotton as Maxi Sweet Treat but double the size ball from Yasmin.  I use the Maxi Sugar Rush for most of my appliqués.  It’s my favourite cotton, has a wide range of colours and is so easy on my arthritic hands. Yasmin loves Scheepjes yarns and her main focus is supplying Scheepjes yarns to customers in Australia.  She stocks a very wide range of their yarns and is happy to do custom orders for people looking for Scheepjes products she doesn’t stock.  Yasmin also loves all things gradient and stocks the Garnmanufaktur brand.  Crochet hooks, knitting needles and patterns are also available.
