Flamingo Towel

The flamingo towel is another gift for a new baby, I’ve been making a few recently.

I love flamingos and wanted to use the 2 different flamingos together in a project.  I think I’ll add some stitching on the towel for some ripples.

The appliqués were made using Scheepjes Catona  cotton and a 2.5mm hook.  

I used the bending flamingo appliqué and the standing flamingo appliqué.

My sewing machine was used to stitch the appliqués to the towel using the colour of the towel in the bobbin and the colours of the appliqués for the top thread.
