Welcome to my crochet sausage dog tutorial. This is the video tutorial for my crochet sausage dog pattern.
The sausage dog applique will be 12.5cm wide x 9cm high (5” wide x 3.5” high) and look like this.
For this pattern, you will need any thickness crochet cotton or yarn, and I used Scheepjes Catona cotton colors (179) Topaz, (383) Ginger Gold and (222) Tulip. A crochet hook, I used a 2.5mm hook. A darning needle to weave in ends, a pair of scissors. Sewing thread and a needle to stitch the sausage dog together. Black cotton to embroider on the eye, mouth and nose.
In the video tutorial, I’ll show you how to make the head, body and tail. Then I’ll guide you through making the legs, ears, markings and collar. And finally, I’ll show you how to combine all the pieces.
