Welcome to my crochet pond tutorial. This is the tutorial video for my crochet pond pattern.

The finished size for the crochet pond is 15cm wide x 10cm high or 5.75” wide x 4” high and will look like this.

I’ve also included a version with an easy edge in the tutorial.

To make the crochet pond, you will need any thickness crochet cotton or yarn, I used Scheepjes Catona crochet cotton colours (146) Vivid Blue, (074) Mercury, (106) Snow White, (515) Emerald, (222) Tulip and I used a bit of (242) Metal Gray to embroider small rocks between the rocks.  A crochet hook, I used a 2.5mm hook.  A darning needle to weave in ends.  A pair of scissors.  Sewing thread and a needle to stitch the pond together.  Yellow thread to embroider centres on the water lilies.

In the tutorial, I’ll show you how to make the pond, rocks, edge, water lilies and lily pads. Then I’ll show you how to join all of the pieces together.

I hope that you’ve enjoyed the video tutorial. You should look at some of my other tutorials, including the crochet coral tutorial, crochet cherry, grapes, the swan, the mallard duck and the easy duck.
