Crochet Baby Blanket with Picture Panel Tutorial

Welcome to my crochet baby blanket with picture panel tutorial. This is the video tutorial for my crochet baby blanket pattern.

For this pattern you will need any thickness crochet cotton or yarn, I used 8 ply yarn which is light worsted in the US and double knit in the UK.  I used 7 100gm balls of the main colour and 2 100gm balls of the contrast colour.  Crochet hooks, I used a 5.5mm hook and a 5mm hook but my tension is tight so use the hook you would usually use for the weight yarn.  A darning needle to weave in ends.  A pair of scissors. Appliques to add to the centre panel.  Thread and needle to stitch the appliques to the blanket.  Embroidery cotton to embroider flower centres.

The pattern will be 76 cm wide x 92cm high or 30” wide x 36” high and will look like this.
