I designed a train track beanie pattern to make beanies for young boys for the charity group I belong to. I decorate the train track beanies with some of my previous appliqués. Here are some of the different designs that I’ve made.
Materials Used
- Train track beanie.
- Appliqués to decorate (I used Scheepjes Maxi Sweet Treat 2 ply cotton to make my appliqués).
- Sewing thread and needle to stitch the appliqués to the beanie.
- Scissors.

For every beanie I used a train engine and train carriage.

1st Beanie
I added the elephant, giraffe, panda, and lion to the train carriages, all the patterns are from the train series.
2nd Beanie
The giraffe and lion were from the train series, and I used the faces only of the monkey and the easy hippo. I made paws for the monkey and hippo using the pattern for the lion’s paws.
3rd Beanie
I stitched a train engine and carriage to the front of the beanie and added a cow and goat to the back.
4th Beanie
Along with the train engine and carriage on this beanie I added an easy sheep and a lamb.
