Crochet Standing Flamingo Tutorial

Welcome to my crochet standing flamingo tutorial. This is the video tutorial for my crochet standing flamingo pattern.

For this pattern you will need any thickness crochet cotton or yarn, I used Scheepjes Catona cotton colours (114) Shocking Pink, (519) Fresia, (222) Tulip, (254) Moon Rock and (110) Black.  A crochet hook, I used a 2.5mm hook.  A darning needle to weave in ends and a pair of scissors.  Thread and needle to stitch the flamingo together.  A white bead if desired.

The standing flamingo will be 22cm wide x 23cm high (8.5” wide x 9” high) and it will look like this.

In this tutorial video, I’ll show you how to make the beak, head, neck and body. Then, I’ll guide you through making the feathers, tail and leg. Finally, I’ll show you how to join all of the pieces together.

I hope that you’ve enjoyed the video. You should have a look at some of my other tutorials, including the pheasant, the stork tutorial, peacock, the easy frog and the quail.
