Welcome to my crochet small butterfly tutorial. This is the video tutorial for my crochet small butterfly pattern.

For this pattern you will need any thickness crochet cotton or yarn, I used Scheepjes Catona cotton colors (110) Black and (146) Vivid Blue.  A crochet hook, I used a 2.5mm hook.  A darning needle to weave in ends and a pair of scissors.

The size of the small butterfly will be 7cm wide x 6cm high (2.75” wide x 2.5” high) and it will look like this.

In this tutorial I’ll show you how to make the head and body. Then I’ll guide you through making the wings and antennas. Finally, I’ll show you how to join all the pieces together.
