Welcome to my crochet small bee tutorial. This is the video tutorial for my crochet small bee pattern.
For this pattern you will need any thickness crochet cotton or yarn, I used Scheepjes Catona cotton colours, (208) Yellow Gold, (110) Black and (106) Snow White. A crochet hook, I used a 2.5mm hook. A darning needle to weave in ends, a pair of scissors. Red embroidery thread to embroider on the mouth if desired.
The size of the small bee will be 4.5cm wide x 3cm high (1.75” wide x 1.25” high) and it will look like this.
In this tutorial video I’ll show you how to make the head, body and wings. Then I’ll guide you through making the antenna and the stinger. Finally, I’ll show you how to join the pieces together.
