Welcome to my crochet poodle tutorial. Follow along with this crochet tutorial and learn how to make my crochet poodle pattern.
When finished, the poodle applique will be 14.5cm x 14cm (5.75” x 5.5”) and look like this.
You will need crochet cotton or wool, I used Scheepjes Catona crochet cotton colours (106) Snow White and (222) Tulip. A crochet hook, I used a 2.5mm hook. Scissors. Darning needle to weave in ends. Sewing thread and needle to stitch the poodle together. Beads for the eye, flower centre and collar if desired.
I’ll guide you through making the head, body and legs. Then I’ll show how to make the tail fur, topknot, ear, fur and flower. Lastly, I’ll join all of the pieces together.
