Welcome to my crochet orchid tutorial. Follow along with this tutorial video and learn how to make my crochet orchid pattern.
In the tutorial video I will teach you how to make the large, small and side petals. Then I’ll show you how to join all of the petals together. The finished orchid applique will look like this.
For this pattern you will need crochet cotton or wool, I used Scheepjes Catona crochet cotton colours (226) Orchid, (113) Delphinium and (208) Yellow Gold. A crochet hook, I used a 1mm hook and scissors. Darning needle to weave in ends. Sewing thread and needle to stitch the orchid together.
The finished size will be 12cm x 11.5cm or 4.75″ x 4.5″.
