Welcome to my crochet lantern tutorial. This is the video tutorial for my crochet lantern pattern.

For this pattern you will need any thickness crochet cotton or yarn, I used Scheepjes Catona cotton colors (115) Hot Red and (100) Lemon Chiffon.  A crochet hook, I used a 2.5mm hook.  A darning needle to weave in ends.  Thread and needle to stitch the lantern together and a pair of scissors.

The size of the lantern will be 4cm wide x 8.5cm high (1.75” wide x 3.5” high) and it will look like this.

In the tutorial, I’ll show you how to make the lantern, the light and the hanger. Then I’ll guide you through joining the pieces together.
