Welcome to my crochet house tutorial. This is the tutorial video for my crochet house pattern.
I have made a plain house and a brick house. The finished size will be 14.5cm wide x 24cm high or 5.5″ wide x 9.5″ high and the houses will look like this.
To make the house applique you will need any thickness crochet cotton or yarn, I used Scheepjes Catona crochet cotton colours (179) Topaz, (404) English Tea, (115) Hot Red, (110) Black and (162) Black Coffee for the brick house and (106) Snow White, (115) Hot Red, (110) Black, (074) Mercury and (162) Black Coffee for the plain house. A crochet hook, I used a 1mm hook. A darning needle to weave in ends. A pair of scissors. Sewing thread and a needle to stitch the house together.
In the tutorial video, I will show you how to make the main part of the house for the brick and plain houses. Then I’ll show you how to make the roof, eaves, door and windows. Finally, I’ll guide you through joining all of the pieces together.
