Welcome to my crochet hedgehog tutorial. This is the video tutorial for my crochet hedgehog pattern.
For this pattern you will need any thickness crochet cotton or yarn, I used Scheepjes Catona cotton colours (254) Moon Rock and (404) English Tea. A crochet hook, I used a 2.5mm hook. A darning needle to weave in ends and a pair of scissors. Sewing thread and needle to stitch the hedgehog together and black thread to embroider on the mouth. A black bead for the eye. White fabric paint or white thread for the dot in the eye if desired.
The size of the hedgehog will be 10cm wide x 7cm high (4” wide x 2.5” high) and it will look like this.
In the tutorial video, first I’ll show you how to make the head, back and legs. Then I’ll guide you through making the nose and ear. Finally, I’ll show you how to join the pieces together.
