Welcome to my crochet dolphin tutorial. Follow along with this tutorial video and learn how to make my crochet dolphin pattern.
To make this pattern you will need crochet cotton or wool, I used Scheepjes Catona crochet cotton colours (074) Mercury and (106) Snow White. You will also need a crochet hook, I used a 2.5mm hook and scissors. Darning needle to weave in ends. Sewing thread and needle to stitch the dolphin together. Black cotton to embroider on eye marking if desired.
The finished dolphin applique will be 14.5cm x 10cm or 5.75″ x 4″ and look like this.
In the tutorial, I will show you step by step how to make the body, tail, tummy, eye and fins then guide you through joining all of the pieces together.
