Rain-drops (If making a rain-cloud – I made 4)
You could use teardrop beads instead.
Make a magic loop.
Work 2 ch and 1 hdc in circle. Pull circle tight and fasten off leaving a long tail to stitch to the bottom of the cloud.
To Make Up
Weave in ends. Embroider a black dot in the middle of each eye.
Stitch the eyes to the cloud.
Embroider on eyelashes if desired.
Embroider on a mouth.
If making a rain-cloud attach raindrops or beads to the bottom of the cloud leaving them hang down at different lengths.
To Make a Finger Puppet Using A Crochet Back
Make another cloud section for the back.
Having the wrong sides facing crochet the cloud together using a sl st in each stitch leaving a gap for your finger at the bottom of the cloud.
To Make a Finger Puppet Using A Felt Back
Pin your cloud to a piece of felt and machine sew around the cloud leaving a gap for your finger at the bottom of the cloud.
Trim away the excess felt.
And here’s a few of my different crochet clouds.
I hope that you’ve enjoyed the pattern.
