For this pattern, I used Scheepjes Catona colours (404) English Tea, (130) Old Lace, (254) Moon Rock and (110) Black. A Crochet hook, I used a 1.5mm hook. Sewing thread and needle to stitch the chihuahua together. A darning needle to weave in ends. 2 small seed beads if desired for the eyes.
The finished chihuahua applique will be 9cm x 13cm (3.5” x 5”) and will look like this.
In this video tutorial, I will show how to make the head, ears, eyes, eyebrows, muzzle and nose. Next, I’ll guide you through making the body, blaze, legs and tail. Finally, I’ll show you how to join all of the pieces together.
