Dear Kerri,
First I wish you and your family a ?”MERRY?CHRISTMAS”✨ and ❇? “A ?HAPPY ? NEW❄YEAR” ⛄? ~ May it be a better one … !
I hope you are all staying healthy and safe ! Thank you so much for taking me on your list of your Newsletter, and all your wonderful sweet application ideas and especially your very clear description on your pattern. I found your channel by searching for a crochet pattern of a Waterlily, and saw your basket with frogs ? , jumping and swimming in a pond of waterlilies … some waterlily-leaves are finished, and one waterlily-flower, too. I want to make more, but first I need new glasses ? to see the tiny stitches of my crocheting work clearly. I learned a little bit of crocheting in school, but then done anymore … In these stressful times I began to learn it again, taking it as a therapy calming down my mind … I am still a beginner in learning to crochet, and exploring all the wonderful opportunities I could make in the near future.
You must know I am an elder german woman, living now on one of the Canary Islands (belonging to Spain) … and my english becomes better more and more, trained through several YouTube-channels like yours ; channels also for crocheting “Granny Squares”, blankets, Amigurumis, beautiful shawls, baskets and other useful and/or decorative items.
I am a mother, grandma and great-grandma, my whole family is still living in Germany ; but I can crochet for them, and your applications can be used onto simple Granny Squares as you have it shown on several of your blankets. I am interested in all kinds of your applications, I like flowers and mostly animals … because I am a very motherly woman, I was always saving them if I could, and had given many homeless animals a new home for a time (working together with a group of animal-protectors on Canary Islands), or adopted them myself for their lifetime. There had been so many dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, hedgehogs … all those sick or very small baby-animals who really need ?some help ; and for more than 20 years I had been a beekeeper, too. Yes, of course I had seen immediately the little smiling bee on your homepage ? ! So you can imagine that I am exited to see this sweet “Boston Terrier” – application, and take it as my Christmas gift ?! Nowadays an adopted “Norfolk Terrier” is living with me, a saved wild Canary bird, too (one of his feet is damaged by accident); and many Geckos everywhere inside and outside of my house … several ? … and many very small ??? , always searching for food and ?water.
Thank you once more for giving all of us so many pattern for free ; in the next year I must have a credit card to be able to buy your pattern, and other items online, too. ~ With my best wishes for all of you … with the help and grace of GOD ! ~ ?Christine ?
(Please, don’t give too much attention on my failures if made, I do my best with the help of my dictionary ? +? )
Kerri: Thank you so much for the pattern of the Boston Terrier. I decided just to do the head so that it will fit nicely on a square from a baby blanket I’m making. It worked out really well and can’t wait to show my friend. Have a Happy and Healthy New Year.
Thank you Joan, you’re welcome. I’m glad that it worked out well for you.
