Welcome to my crochet border collie tutorial. Follow along with this video tutorial to learn how to make my crochet border collie pattern.
For this video you will need any thickness crochet cotton or yarn, I used Scheepjes Catona colours (106) Snow White, (157) Root Beer, (110) Black, (105) Bridal White and (518) Marshmellow. I also used a tiny bit of thinner black cotton. A crochet hook, I used a 2.5mm hook. A darning needle to weave in ends, scissors and sewing thread and a needle to stitch the border collie together. Sequins for the eyes.
The finished size will be 12.5cm wide x 12.5cm high or 5″ wide x 5″ high and will look like this.
In the video, I’ll show you how to make the head, blaze, ears, nose, mouth and eyes. Then I’ll show you how to make the body, legs and back. Finally, I’ll show you how to join all of the pieces together.
