Welcome to my crochet beehive tutorial. This is the video tutorial for my crochet beehive pattern.
For this pattern you will need any thickness crochet cotton or yarn, I used Scheepjes Catona cotton colours (208) Yellow Gold, (254) Moon Rock, (162) Black Coffee, (515) Emerald and (106) Snow White. A crochet hook, I used a 2.5mm hook. A darning needle to weave in ends and a pair of scissors. Thread and needle to stitch the pieces together.
The size of the beehive will be 11.5cm wide x 16.5cm high (4.5” wide x 6.5” high) and it will look like this.
In this tutorial video I’ll show you how to make the main part of the beehive. Then I’ll guide you through making the entrance, the branch, the flowers and the leaves. Finally, I’ll show you how to join all the pieces together.
