Crochet Lizard Tutorial

Welcome to my crochet lizard tutorial. This is the video tutorial for my crochet lizard pattern.

For this pattern you will need any thickness crochet cotton or yarn, I used Scheepjes Catona cotton colours (383) Ginger Gold, (179) Topaz and (404) English Tea.  Crochet hooks, I used a 2.5mm hook for the main parts and a 2mm hook for the neatening rows.  A darning needle to weave in ends and a pair of scissors.  Thread and needle to stitch the lizard together.  A black bead for the eye if desired.  Black paint or cotton for toenails.

The size of the lizard will be 20cm wide x 8cm high (8” wide x 3” high) and it will look like this.

In the tutorial video, I’ll show you how to make the head, body and tail. Then I’ll guide you through making the legs, beard and face markings. Finally, I’ll show you how to join the pieces together.

I hope that you’ve enjoyed the tutorial video. You should have a look at some of my other tutorials, including the crochet turtle, the crocodile tutorial and the octopus.
