To Make Up

Weave in ends.  Stitch the markings down.

Using (106) Snow White work enough chain to go across from the markings at the sides and stitch them down between the 3rd stitches from end on each side.

Using (106) Snow White work enough chain to go between the cross markings on each side and stitch them down (you will need 4).

Join the sides of the bails together and then attach them to the top of the stumps (you will have 3 stumps with each bail).

Attach the stumps in the gap in the markings (I left my stumps standing up, but you could stitch them down if you prefer.

Put a small amount of stuffing in the ball if desired and then close in the end.  Put the bat handle into the bat and then stitch along the bottom and up the side.

And there’s the finished cricket pitch appliqué. I’ve also made it in different sizes.
