Welcome to my crochet blue wren tutorial video. Follow along with this crochet tutorial and learn how to make my crochet blue wren pattern.
To make this crochet robin you will need crochet cotton or wool, I used Scheepjes Catona (110) Black, (106) Snow White, (074) Mercury and (201) Electric Blue. A crochet hook, I used a 2.5mm hook. Scissors. Darning needle to weave in ends. Sewing thread and needle to stitch the wren together. A bead for the eye if desired.
The finished size will be 13cm x 13cm (5” x 5”) and it will look like this.
In the tutorial video, I’ll show you how to make the head, eye marking, neck marking and beak. Then we’ll make the wing, the tail and the tail fluff. Finally I’ll guide you through putting all of the pieces together.
