Welcome to my crochet seahorse tutorial. In this tutorial video, I’ll show you how to make my crochet seahorse pattern.
For this applique you will need any thickness crochet cotton or yarn, I used Scheepjes Catona crochet cotton colour (280) Lemon. A crochet hook, I used a 2.5mm hook. A darning needle to weave in ends, a pair of scissors. A bead for the eye if desired. Darker colour crochet or embroidery cotton for the markings if desired.
The finished seahorse will be 6cm wide x 13.5cm high or 2.25” wide x 5.25” high and will look like this.
I will show you how to make the head and body, tail and fin. Then I’ll show you how to put on the markings and the eye.
