Welcome to my beginner crochet Eva scarf pattern. This is a request that I received. This is what the finished scarf will look like.
This scarf is named after my talented grandmother Eva who taught me how to crochet when I was 7 years old.
There’s also a video tutorial for this pattern on my YouTube channel at the crochet Eva scarf tutorial.

Scarf
Work 26 ch or an even number of chain of the desired width.
Row 1: Working into the back bump of the ch work 1 tr in 3rd ch from hook, (1 dc in next st, 1 tr in following st) repeat to last st, 1 dc in last st. Turn.
Row 2: 2 ch, work 1 tr in 1st st, (1 dc in back loop of next st, 1 tr in both loops of following st) repeat to last st, 1 dc in both loops of last st. Turn.
Repeat row 2 until the scarf is the desired length. Fasten off.

Weave in ends.
And there’s the finished scarf. My cat has also inspected it too.
I will be decorating it with some butterflies and flower appliques that I’ve made before and will show you.
