Welcome to my crochet penguin baby blanket tutorial. This is the video tutorial for my crochet penguin baby blanket pattern.
For this pattern you will need 5 100g balls of light blue, 2 balls of white, 1 ball of each black and orange in 8 ply yarn which is DK yarn. A crochet hook, I used a 4mm hook. A darning needle to weave in ends and a pair of scissors. Black sewing thread and a needle to stitch the eyes to the penguin. White cotton to embroider the dot on the eyes.
The finished size will be 76cm across x 94cm long (27” across x 37” long) for the penguin baby blanket and it will look like this.
