Welcome to my crochet fox scarf pattern. This is what the finished scarf will look like.

Crochet Fox Scarf Pattern
Abbreviations
- st – stitch
- sts – stitches
- ch – chain
- sl st – slip stitch
- dc – double crochet
- tr – treble crochet
- dtr – double treble crochet
Materials Used
- Any thickness yarn, I used cream 8 ply yarn which is light worsted in the US and double knit in the UK for the scarf and Scheepjes Maxi Sweet Treat 2 ply crochet cotton for the foxes and leaves.
- A crochet hook, I used a 5.5mm hook for the scarf and a 1mm hook for the foxes and the leaves.
- A darning needle to weave in ends.
- Scissors.
- Sewing thread and needle to attach the foxes and leaves to the scarf.
The scarf is made using my recent Eva Scarf pattern and the foxes are from my baby fox pattern.
Leaves
I made 21 leaves in autumn colours.
Leaf
Using desired colour work 9 ch.
Work 1 sl st in 2nd ch from hook, 1 dc in next st, 1 htr in following st, 1 tr in each of next 3 sts, 1 htr in following st, 1 sl st in last st, 2 ch, 1 sl st in same st as last sl st, working into the back loop of the ch work 1 htr in next st, 1 tr in each of following 3 sts, 1 htr in next st, 1 dc in following st, sl st in last st. Fasten off.
To Make Up
Weave in ends. Attach a fox to the right side towards the bottom of each end of the scarf with the top of the foxes pointing towards the middle of the scarf. (I have a video and article attaching appliqués to a crochet item).
Attach the leaves to the scarf.
