Scarf with Crocheted Flowers & Braid Pattern Tutorial

Finished crochet flower scarf pink landscape

Welcome to my easy crochet flower scarf tutorial. This is the tutorial video for my scarf with crocheted flowers & braid pattern.

To make the applique you will need yarn, I used 3 balls of different colours of Patons 4 ply baby yarn for the scarf and flowers and a small amount of Patons 3 ply baby yarn for the braid.  Knitting needles, I used a pair of 7mm knitting needles.  Crochet hooks, I used a 4mm crochet hook for the flowers and a 2.5mm crochet hook for the braid.  Scissors.  A darning needle to weave in the ends.  Sewing thread and a needle to stitch the flowers and braid to the scarf.  Beads to go on the flowers and braid if desired.

The finished flower scarf will be 6” wide x 4’ long or 15cm wide x 1.25m long and look like this.

In the crochet beginner video, I will show you how to knit the scarf and crochet flowers and braid. I’ll then show you how to join them all together.

I hope that you’ve enjoyed the pattern. You may also like some of my other tutorials including the crochet Eva scarf, crochet spring blanket or the crochet granny square.
