Crochet Fire Engine Tutorial

Welcome to my crochet fire engine tutorial. This is the video tutorial for my crochet fire engine pattern.

For this pattern, you will need any thickness crochet cotton or yarn, I used Scheepjes Catona crochet cotton colours (390) Poppy Rose, (192) Scarlet, (106) Snow White, (110) Black, (074) Mercury, (242) Metal Gray, (509) Baby Blue and (208) Yellow Gold.  A crochet hook, I used a 2.5mm hook.  A darning needle to weave in ends and a pair of scissors.  Sewing thread and a needle to stitch the fire engine together.

The size will be 16cm wide x 13cm high or 6.25” wide x 5” high and will look like this.

In the tutorial video, I will show you how to make the cab, the step and the back section. Then I’ll guide you through making the small and large ladders, the stripe, the hose, the window, the siren and the light. And finally, I’ll show you how to join all of the pieces together.

I hope that you’ve enjoyed the video. You should have a look at some of my other tutorials, including the easy car tutorial, the crochet train tutorial, the cement mixer, the jeep and the crochet crane.
