To Make Up

Weave in ends.  Sew a cross frame piece to the back top and bottom of the seat leaving enough room for the seat to fold over the cross-frame piece.

Stitch the ends of the seat over the cross-frame pieces.

Attach a side frame piece to each side of the seat over the cross-frame pieces, leaving a bit of the side frame pieces sticking up at the top.

Sew a cross-frame piece between the side frame pieces close to the bottom.

Stitch a cross-frame piece to the back-leg pieces near the bottom.

Attach the back-leg pieces to the side frame pieces about a third from the top of the chair.

And there’s the finished crochet beach chair applique. I’ve also made it in different colours and sizes.

I hope that you’ve enjoyed the pattern. If you have I’ve also got a crochet flip-flops pattern that you might like.
