Welcome to my crochet baby seal tutorial. This is the video tutorial for my crochet baby seal pattern.
For this pattern you will need any thickness crochet cotton or yarn, I used Scheepjes Catona cotton colours (106) Snow White and (110) Black. A crochet hook, I used a 2.5mm hook. A darning needle to weave in ends. Thread and needle to stitch the seal together and white thread to embroider dots in the centre of the eyes. Black and red thread for embroidery and a pair of scissors.
The size of the baby seal will be 10cm wide x 10cm high (4” wide x 4” high) and it will look like this.
In this tutorial I’ll show you how to make the head, body and tail. Then I’ll guide you through making the front and back flippers, the eyes and the nose. Finally, I’ll show you how to join all the pieces together.
