- sts – stitches
- ch – chain
- sl st – slip stitch
- sc – single crochet
- hdc – half double crochet
- dc – double crochet
Materials Used
- Any thickness crochet cotton or yarn, I used 8 ply yarn which is light worsted in the US and double knit in the UK. I used 7 100gm balls of the main colour and 2 100gm balls of the contrast colour.
- Crochet hooks, I used a 5.5mm hook and a 5mm hook, but my tension is tight, so use the hook you would usually use for the weight yarn.
- A darning needle to weave in ends.
- Scissors.
- Appliques to add to the centre panel.
- Thread and needle to stitch the appliques to the blanket.
- Embroidery cotton to embroider flower centres.

Using contrast colour make a magic loop.

To Make Up
Weave in ends. Work a centre in each flower with a French knot.
Stitch the flowers around the blanket edge as shown. Decorate the centre panel as desired.
And there’s the finished baby blanket with the teddy blanket appliqués. I’ve also made it with the animal appliqués.
I hope that you’ve enjoyed the pattern.
