Crochet Airtanker Plane Tutorial

Welcome to my crochet airtanker plane tutorial. This is the video tutorial for my crochet airtanker plane pattern.

For this pattern you will need any thickness crochet cotton or yarn, I used Scheepjes Catona cotton colours (106) Snow White, (115) Hot Red, (074) Mercury, (390) Poppy Rose and (110) Black.  A crochet hook, I used a 2.5mm hook.  A darning needle to weave in ends and a pair of scissors.  Black and grey thread and needle to embroider on the windows.

The airtanker plane will be 15cm wide x 11.5cm high (6” wide x 4.5” high) and will look like this.

In the tutorial video I’ll show you how to make the fuselage and the wings. Then I’ll guide you through making the tail, tail flaps, propellers and the floater. Finally, I’ll show you how to join all the pieces together.

I hope that you’ve enjoyed the tutorial. Have a look at some of my others, including the helicopter, the plane, the fire engine tutorial, the ambulance and the hot air balloon.
