Beginner Crochet Pattern Flowers for a Singlet (UK version)

We will be doing crochet flowers today that can be used to go on a singlet. This crochet pattern is a beginner pattern and here is what it will look like once finished.

I also have a how-to tutorial video at Crochet Pattern Flowers if you would like to follow along.

This pattern will use UK terminology, for the US version go to Beginner Crochet Flowers Pattern for a Singlet (US version).

To Make Up

Arrange flowers on singlet as desired.  Stitch on with either bead or using embroidery cotton and a french knot. If you use a bead you will need a needle fine enough to pass through the hole in the bead.  I like to stitch around the flower to hold it down as it looks better after a few washes.

I have also put some blue birds on the singlet. If you would like to do that as well the pattern is available on Crochet Pattern of Two Birds on a Branch.

And I used them on this Crochet Cat Towel Pattern as well.

The other patterns for the cat towel are the small birds, cat and mouse.

So you can see they are quite reusable and can be used in a number of diverse creations. Let me know if you have found any other pieces where you have been able to use these flowers.
